1st day: MILAN - PADUA - VENICE MESTRE

Arrival in Milan. Meeting with our guide. Panoramic tour of the beautiful capital of Lombardia, including the most important places of the city, such as the Castello Sforzesco, the Vittorio Emmanuele Gallery and the Duomo, a universal masterpiece of art. Transfer to Padua. Free time to visit the Basilica of St. Antonio, built between the XIII and the XIV centuries, a marvellous work of Italian Gothic art in whose interior, in addition to its excellent sculptural works, there are the remains of the Saint. Arrival in Venice Mestre. Overnight stay in hotel.

2nd day: VENICE MESTRE - FLORENCE

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Island of Venice, where we will arrive by private boat. Visit Tour of the city, including the Dome of Santa Maria de la Salud, the majestic exterior of the Palace of the Doges and the Piazzeta, which gives access to the San Marco Square with the visit of the Basilica of San Marco (entrance included). Free time to get lost in the canals, the streets and the secret squares, where there are infinite details that make Venice a unique city in the world. Departure from Venice and transfer to Florence, capital of Tuscany and cradle of the Renaissance and nowadays one of the main artistic centres of the world. Overnight stay in hotel.

3rd day: FLORENCE - ASSISI - ROME

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic tour of the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its wonderful Dome made by Brunelleschi and which served as a model for Michelangelo to carry out the San Pietro in the Vatican, the bell tower, built by Giotto, the Baptistery with the famous Gates of the Paradise of Ghiberti, the Ponte Vecchio, the Signoria Square with the Palazzo Vecchio and its set statues and fountains of great artistic wealth. Free time to visit the famous Florentine markets. Departure from Florence to Assisi. Visit of the Basilicas of St. Clare and St. Frances (entrance included), with the magnificent frescoes, made by Giotto and Cimabue, and the Saint’s tomb. Departure from Assisi to Rome. Free time in Rome. Overnight stay in hotel.

4th day: ROME

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic visit of the “Eternal City”, including the banks of the Tiber, the Avenue of Forums, the Square of Venice, outside the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, the Hill of the Capitol, the Barrio del Trastevere, a symbol of popular Rome, discovering its most picturesque corners, etc. Free time on the rest of the day for personal visits, for example to visit the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica of San Pietro (entrances not included). Overnight stay in hotel.

5th day: ROME - NAPLES

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by train to Naples. Guided tour of the historic center of Naples: the Duomo and the chapel of San Gennaro; the Decumanus Major with a visit to the Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore; the street of S. Gregorio Armeno, Spaccanapoli and piazza San Domenico; the San Severo Chapel to admire one of the most beautiful statues in the world, the Veiled Christ, the work of Giuseppe Sammartino; the Decumano Inferiore up to the monumental complex of S. Chiara. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon continue to Nola and visit the Cathedral. Accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

6th day: ROME / DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until the transfer with our guide to the airport for our flight back home.

Milan

Padua

Already famous in the past, Padua has a lot to offer to its visitors. Two UNESCO sites will amaze you: the botanical garden and the various frescos cycles from the XIV century. Its university isn’t of minor regard: funded in 1222, it is one of the oldest in the world.

Venice

Venice and its lagoon have been nouned UNESCO site. This city is one of the most incredible places on earth. It is a city built on water and it has always showed its economic and cultural richness. It is known as the Serenissima and it still enjoy a positive popularity on a global scale.

Florence

Florence is one of the most famous Italian cities and it still preserve a medieval soul. It has been hometown of many artists known all over the world such as Giotto, Cimabue, Donatello, Leonardo da Vinci and many more. What’s more it is one of the richest cities regarding art and history. You will be amazed by entering its churches and its museums.

Assisi

Thinking of this town will bring to your mind one famous religious character: Saint Francis of Assisi. It is right here that he was born and he died. This is the place where the big basilica dedicated to the Saint was built and where its relics are still preserved.

Rome

Here you are the eternal city, Rome. A place rich of history, tales and legends. Walking through its roads will mean travelling in the past, listening to the ancient stories and discovering how this city has always managed to cover a very important role. Historic and green city, ancient and modern city, Rome with its monuments will capture you and leave you enchanted.

Naples

An ancient town of Magna Grecia which still shows its past: necropolis, archeological parks, churches and an imposing volcano on its background, the Vesuvius. Yet, Naples isn’t represented only by its past, it is a lot more: it is culinary tradition, music, art and an unparalleled hospitality.
